Funny Stuff

Okay so I have a funny story about Caitlyn. The other day she told me that she really wanted to scratch her back on a tree like Baloo the bear does in "The Jungle Book". I asked her why and she looked at me like I was crazy and said "Because it would feel good Mommy"! Duh I am supposed to know that right. Well yesterday during sacrament meeting we were sitting back in the cultural hall because like usual we were a couple of minutes late. Well Caitlyn kind of moved away from us and was dancing in the isle for a minute by the wall, you know the ones that have the prickely carpet halfway up the side. We told her to come sit down and be reverent. We look a minute later when she hadn't come and saw that she was standing scratching her back up and down on the wall like Baloo the bear. It was so funny!

A Very Rainy Halloween

Here is Scott's pumpkin that he was so proud of. He did the shaving technique instead of carving. It did turn out pretty cool!
Here is the pumpkin I carved. I know Scott thinks his pumpkin was the coolest pumpkin ever, but I thought mine was pretty neato as well.

This is how we went out trick or treating. I drove with Hailey in the backseat while Caitlyn and Scott sat in the trunk and jumped out to go to houses. Caitlyn loved it!

As you can tell it was pretty rainy. You can see Caitlyn grabbing her spoils.

Kind of weird that on Halloween there would be a double rainbow. You can barely see the second one but it is on the right. "No way a double rainbow"!! (For all those Jimmy Fallon Fans that understand the significance of the double rainbow.)

Forgetful

In my previous post I forgot to put a picture of my two cute nephews!

Family Party

The Friday before Halloween my mom had a family party at her house it was fun. (sorry the pictures have smudges on them, found out later something was on the lense) Wondering why my face looks chocolatey...

While I was making these werewolves Scott decided to have a frosting fight. Just so you know his face looked more chocolatey than mine. If you can't tell from the picture my smile is the "I am going to kill you" smile. These were cute cupcakes but holy cow a lot of work!

These are the beautiful pumpkins that the fam all carved.

This is my brother and his family. He had his wife were hillbillies and oh my gosh they not only looked the part but acted the part almost the entire night. They had crazy billy bob teeth. My brother told Caitlyn if she didn't brush her teeth they would look like his. She has brushed her teeth religiously since. Sometimes more than twice a day! Their oldest daughter had the cutest costume. You can't tell from the picture but she was Astrid from "How to Train your Dragon" and she looked just like her!

Here is a close up of me and "Bubba". I was a rocker chick. I could not find any colored hairspray anywhere because I decided to dress up last minute, but you get the gist of it.

The cute grandkids, great-grandkids, me and mom.

It was a lot of fun! We ate dinner in a pumpkin with all sorts of Halloween dishes. Thanks mom for making it so fun for everyone!

The Pumpkin Walk

We went to the Syracuse Pumpkin Walk last weekend. It was freezing cold and we ended up waiting in line about two hours for it....yeah two hours! But that is what you get when you have promised your daughter you would go, and you know if you leave the line she will throw a huge trantrum and everyone will think "what are they doing to that poor girl!", so you stick it out and suffer!!! All in all it was fun and it took about 20 minutes to walk through, which was good because had it only taken five minutes and we waited two hours I would not be a happy camper!
Here is a picutre of Caitlyn nice and cozy in the stroller. Sometimes I wish the stroller could handle adult weight!
Here are Scott and Hailey looking extra pleased. Don't worry about Hailey she is her own little heater and was sweating to death the whole time in that coat!

Sorry if some of these pictures are blurry or off center. We had people behind us riding our tail the whole time, but heck if I had to wait two hours they could wait five seconds for me to take a picture right?!

Minnie Mouse was one of Caitlyn's favorites.

Harry Potter comes out next month! Yea!!

They had some really neat pumpkins!

This one is a little sadistic but it's Halloween! There were tons of pumpkins! Some were amazing, but we did have tailgaters the whole time so I had to take pictures super fast or Scott would have ended up with raw heels! I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
